Partnering with God to see real change at local schools.
The Movie
The Movie about Roosevelt High is called Undivided. It was made in 2007, which was just after we had been involved with prayer walking and serving at Roosevelt High School in North Portland. Our little prayer movement is the preface to this movie. Three scenes from this movie are in my book! We were living through the scenes in this movie just a few blocks away from our home in St. Johns, Portland area. It’s a crazy God-story, and we see how Southlake Church and all they did was an answer for our prayers for God to do more at Roosevelt. Consider getting this one hour documentary or downloading it. You will not regret it!

The cornerstone for this classic school makes me think of who our Cornerstone is–and who we prayed for blessings for this hurting school.
Praying with youth pastor Omari Jones and other friends at Roosevelt
Even our kids got in on the praying, knowing they were wielding “the Sword of the Spirit” as they prayed for changes at Roosevelt High
We were multi-generational and multi-ethnic in our prayer walks
Praying over the sports field. Later, this football field would be totally replaced, as featured in the movie.
